Welcome:
•Welcome/Meeting Dinner in Athens with a view to Acropolis
Accomodation in the center of Athens
Day 1:
•Departure for Laconia, Peloponnese.
•Stop at the Isthmus of Corinth, a narrow strip of land that connects the Peloponnese peninsula to mainland Greece.
•Next to a picturesque village, nestled in the majestic Taygetos Mountains, for a food tasting made with locally sourced ingredients in a well-hidden fish unit in the mountain.
•Head to Sparti, the historic capital of Lakonia with a visit to a mosaic tile workshop, where skilled artisan craft intricate designs inspired by ancient Greek motifs.
•Dinner to a traditional greek taverna (restaurant)
Day 2:
•Explore the ancient pathways and crumbling Byzantine churches of Mystras and immerse yourself in the history of olive oil production at the Olive Oil Museum in Sparti with an experienced archaeologist and tour guide.
•Cooking class and lunch held in a charming old traditional house, under the guidance of a skilled producer of sea salt and herbs,learn to prepare authentic Greek dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the producer himself.
•End the day with a stroll in the cobblestone streets of Areopoli, a quaint town steeped in history and charm.
Day 3:
•A visit to an Organic Agrotourism Farm nestled amidst the rolling hills of Lakonia for an olive oil tasting and a -farm to table- cooking class with lunch
•Walk to to the medieval fortress town of Monemvasia, perched majestically atop a rocky promontory overlooking the sparkling Aegean Sea.
•Cold cuts / Wine under the moon
• Departure from Laconia
•Conclude your gastronomic journey with a tour and a wine tasting to the one of the region's biggest vineyards, where you 'll learn about the winemaking process from grape to bottle.
•A sumptuous meal at a traditional Greek taverna, where you can indulge in classic dishes paired with the perfect wine accompaniments.
